The Housing and Development Bank celebrated today the launch of the HDB Royal VIP service and the opening of 12 VIP service centers in the bank’s branches in Cairo and other governorates. This service is considered to be a major qualitative leap in the level of services provided to the bank's major clients, and the bank has been able, during the past short period, to achieve remarkable success as a strongly competitive commercial bank.
Mr. Hassan Ghanem, the Chairman and Managing Director of the Housing and Development Bank, stated that the bank’s launch of HDB Royal’s VIP customer service aims to provide a distinguished service to this segment of its customers and fulfilling their requirements with high quality and professionalism. The Royal service also provides financial and non-financial advice to help the VIP customers optimally manage their money.
He pointed out that the bank is going through a major transitional phase in both the form and quality of services provided to the customers and their quality. HDB Royal service comes to create a major qualitative leap in the level of services provided to the bank's existing VIP customers to increasing the bank's market share by attracting new customers.
Ghanem also clarified that the bank has developed a clear and ambitious strategy seeking to be at the forefront of commercial banks in the Egyptian banking market. The bank has recently accomplished a strong and remarkable development in providing all competitive banking services and products, in addition to digital products, and working to update them continuously to fulfill the needs of all customer segments.
He added that the bank's strategic plan also relied on expanding the number of branches and developing existing branches in all governorates, along with increasing the number of ATM networks and diversifying their locations to reach our customers throughout the Republic, and to provide banking services to them with the highest level of efficiency and quality.
He explained that one of the most important factors that will contribute greatly to achieving the bank's strategic plan is to provide customer service with a great emphasis on quality and professionalism to all customers. This is because as the bank has the human cadres and capabilities that qualify it to reach its vision.
The Chairman also stressed that the bank has succeeded in maintaining the strength of its financial position, achieving decent growth rates with a great development in all retail banking services, despite the exceptional circumstances that the whole world has witnessed as a result of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Housing and Development Bank showed for the fiscal period ending on 30/6/2021, total profits before taxes amounted to 1.45 billion Egyptian Pounds, with an increase of 10.8% over the comparison period, where the net profit after taxes reached 1.001 billion Egyptian Pounds.
Ghanem explained that reaching these achievements came thanks to the continuous support for the development and expansion plans implemented by the bank, which had a direct positive impact on the bank's performance, reflecting the strength of its financial position.
